🌻 544. ‘పుణ్యశ్రవణ కీర్తనా’ – 3 🌻

కీర్తనము సుప్రసిద్ధమగు దేవతా ప్రశంస. దైవ ప్రశంసకు భజన, కీర్తన భారతీయ సంప్రదాయమున ప్రసిద్ధి గాంచినవి. కీర్తన ద్వారా భగవత్ స్మరణము రుచికరముగ సాగును. కీర్తన చేయుకొలది రుచి పెరుగుచు నుండును. తన్మయత్వము సిద్ధించును. భక్తి పారవశ్యమున కీర్తనము చేయుచుండగ శ్రీమాత సంతసమున దరి చేరును. సాన్నిధ్య మిచ్చును. శ్రవణము, కీర్తనము దైవమును చేరుటకు గల నవ విధ ఉపాయములలో ప్రధానమైనవి. అందరికిని అందుబాటులో నుండునవి. కలి యుగమందు నామ సంకీర్తనయే ప్రధానమని భాగవతము తెలుపుచున్నది.

🌻 544. ‘Punyashravana Kirtana’ – 3 🌻

The hymn is a well-known praise of the goddess. Bhajans and kirtans in praise of God are popular in Indian tradition. Remembrance of god through kirtan is tasteful. The taste of increases as the kirtan proceeds. Concentration is achieved. When kirtan is done in devotional ecstasy Srimata comes nearer in appreciation. Gives close proximity. Listening and glorifying are the key ways amongst nine to reach God. Available to all. The Bhagavata states that Nama Sankīrtana is important in Kali Yuga.
