*🌴. సుఖ నిద్ర కొరకు 🌴*

శ్లో: 62. ప్రకృత్యా రక్తాయా స్తవ సుదతి దంతచ్ఛదరుచేః ప్రవక్ష్యే సాదృశ్యం జనయతు ఫలం విదృమలతా l 

నబింబం తద్బింబ ప్రతిఫలన రాగాదరుణితం తులా మధ్యారోఢుం కథమివ విలజ్జేత కలయా ll 

 

🌻. తాత్పర్యం : 

అమ్మా ! చక్కని పలువరుసలు కలిగిన తల్లీ ! స్వభావము చేత కాంతులు చిమ్ముతున్న నీ పెదవుల కాంతికి సారూప్యముగా ఈ ప్రపంచమున ఏమియూ లేదు, నీ పై పెదవి సహజమయిన కాంతి కలది, అట్టి కాంతికి సమానముగా “పగడము” తీగకు పండినచో పోలిక కాగలదు.పోల్చుదమన్నదానికి దొండపండును పెదవుల కాంతి సహజము కాదు, దొందపండును బింబమని పలికెదరు, అది కూడా నీ పెదవుల యొక్క ప్రతిబింబము వలననే ఆ పేరు వచ్చెను. కదా ! 

🌻. జప విధానం – నైవేద్యం:–

ఈ శ్లోకమును 1000 సార్లు ప్రతి రోజు 8 రోజులు జపం చేస్తూ, తీపి గారెలు, తేనె నివేదించినచో అమ్మ దీవెనల ద్వారా సుఖ నిద్ర లభించును అని చెప్పబడింది.

62. Prakrithya’rakthayas thava sudhati dantha-cchada-ruchaih Pravakshye saadrisyam janayathu phalam vidhruma-latha; Na bimbam tad-bimba-prathiphalana-raagad arunitham Thulam adhya’rodhum katham iva bhilajjetha kalaya. 

 

🌻 Translation : 

Oh goddess who has beautiful rows of teeth tried to find a simile to your blood red lips, and can only imagine the fruit of the coral vine. The fruits of the red cucurbit, hang its head in shame, on being compared to your lips, as it has tried to imitate its color from you, and know that it has failed miserably.

🌻 Chanting procedure and Nivedyam (offerings to the Lord) : 

If one chants this verse 1000 times a day for 8 days, offering sweet vada as prasadam, and Honey it is believed that they will be blessed by the lord to have a peaceful sleep.

Sound sleep for the sleepless, robust constitution and power of enticing people.
